Linda Yusef is a Palestinian midwife at the Haifa Hospital in the camp of Burj El Barajneh, three km south of Beirut, Lebanon. Run by the Red Crescent, the hospital still lacks funds and medical personnal and Linda delivers babies in often difficult conditions. Between 25,000 and 30,000 palestinians live in the 1 km square « camp » where unemployment is high and economical perspectives are bleak. Thus raising the question of the future of these babies, whose grand-parents left their country 60 years ago — but still keep the hope to come back, one day, to Palestine.
