In the notorious streets of jazzy New Orleans, their engines thunder like a brass band. The “Caramel Curves” is the wildest biker club of the old south. With their 12 centimeters heels, assertive curves, pink lipstick, skinny jeans and decorated helmets, these freewheelin’ feminists have built around them a community of solidarity and empowerment.

After working to help their sisters of bikes, scattered by the winds of Katrina, they now encourage the vocations of girls bikers, bruised by a society where Barbie is the queen. On the hot asphalt of the streets of the French Quarter or the merciless interchanges that pass through the neighborhoods, the Caramel Curves build day after day a more beautiful New Orleans.
