j’adore l’aspect g?om?trique, les perpendiculaires qui se forment, les corps qui se melent aux cables…. j’aimerais juste la voir en bcp plus grand…

“What is Perfection? It is when, in a certain construction, it cannot be done better; when form and content meet” (Marcel Marceau).
Many believe that only God can reach Perfection.
I believe that this picture is perfect, because nothing needs to be added to it or nothing needs to be taken away. Every line is where it should be. Time has stopped and we are the witnesses of a fraction of a second that seems to last for ever. You are definitely very gifted.

aaw, what can i say to answer to that ?? ;)
i like the definition by marcel marceau, “it cannot be done better”, although how are we supposed to know that it couldn’t be done better ?
my idea of perfection is that it builds itself with little imperfections, like they create a part of the magic, they show the emotion of a real fraction of second, not something set up and fake.
i can see some little imperfections in that picture, but that’s how i knew when i made it that it would be a good one. and i’m stunned that i could make such a picture, i guess i could say that i just framed and press the shutter, but there must be something bigger to it, i just can’t explain, i don’t know what it is…

Interesting discussion… I can feel that the more pictures you take and the more comments you get from people around you (not just here), the more you grow (as an artist I mean). You do not have clear answers to the “why” and the “how”, but you can feel that you are going somewhere.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. That’s what I like in photography: It is very often a matter of feelings that just cannot be expressed by words.
OH. LA. LA.
